Robert Williams' NBA career got off to a rough start as he overslept his own introductory press conference, missed the Celtics' first summer league practice after failing to make his flight and then lost his wallet twice — all within a month of being drafted.
But, it appears the Celtics rookie is taking extra precaution to make sure he's not late for any practices going forward as he told reporters he got a place right next to the team's new practice facility.
"Two minute walk," Williams said with a laugh, per ESPN. "Can't be late!"
Williams also provided a positive update on his knee injury, which has caused him to miss a majority of the summer league, as he said it's "feeling way better." He also indicated he expects to be a full-go for the team's training camp in the fall.
