To use a sports metaphor, this one's a blowout.

Citing the Pac-12's new federal income tax return, the report says Scott was credited with more than $4.1 million in total compensation for the 2015 calendar year (the most recent year available).
The breakdown, per the return provided by the Pac-12 at USA Today's request:
- Base compensation: $2.65 million
- Bonus: $1.3 million
- Other reportable compensation: $155,000
- Total: $4.105 million
According to the Big Ten’s latest tax return made public Friday, USA Today reported that Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany was credited with total compensation of nearly $2.4 million in 2015, but — and this is a very big but — he became "fully eligible" in July of that year for "future bonus payments" that add up to $20 million.
Other Power Five conference commissioners' compensation, according to the report:
The Big 12's Bob Bowlsby got $2.7 million in 2015.
The SEC's Greg Sankey received $1.25 million in 2015, when he served as the conference COO for five months before replacing the retiring Mike Slive as commissioner.
The ACC's John Swofford got $2.7 million in 2014, the last year available.
