After Game 2 of the playoff series between the Wizards and Celtics, many wondered if Marcus Morris, twin brother of Washington's Markieff, replaced his injured sibling. The Ringer went into all of the details, but it wasn't as far-fetched a theory as you may think.

For instance, the twin brothers have matching tattoos all across their arms and chest.

The twins have also admitted to swapping in the past, and a switch would have made sense in Game 2. With Markieff being injured in Game 1, Washington needed its starter in the lineup, and magically they had one. But was it really him?

After the conspiracy theory floated around for a few days, Marcus denied the accusation on his Twitter account.

I wouldn't play for another team unless I'm on that team. Smooth playing on a sprained ankle. I didn't expect anything less.

This is exactly what someone would say if they didn't want others to know they switched though, so we're still skeptical. Marcus isn't doing much these days anyway with his Pistons eliminated, and we don't know about his whereabouts the night of May 4.

Even a reporter after the game asked about "Marcus" and not Markieff.
