For most Malaysians, Harimau Malaya players are known for their performances on the pitch. The cheers, victories, and highly emotional moments often take center stage. Yet, behind every jersey, lies countless stories of sacrifice, challenges, and perseverance that rarely make headlines.
Football in Malaysia is more than just a game. It is a shared emotion that brings together families, friends, and communities, especially when Harimau Malaya carries the nation’s hopes on the international stage.
In every match that raises the nation’s pride, the support of Malaysians becomes the heartbeat that fuels the team's spirit. Yet beyond the cheers in the stadium and the eyes fixed on screens, there is another side that is rarely told—the personal journeys of those who carry the weight of national expectations.

To bring fans closer to this side of the story, WONDA Coffee, through its "Semarakkan Sokongan Bersama WONDA" (Ignite the Support with WONDA) initiative, is inviting Malaysians to reignite their support for Harimau Malaya throughout the international football season.
This initiative celebrates not only the national team on the pitch, but also the culture of Malaysian supporters - the “12th player” whose unwavering passion and belief continue to drive the nation's football journey.
Building on this spirit, WONDA Coffee continues its partnership with Harimau Malaya through "Kisah Disebalik Harimau" (The Story Behind the Tigers), an exclusive capsule series that offers fans a rare glimpse into the untold stories of the players behind the badge.
More than just football content, the series serves as a storytelling platform that brings fans closer to the individuals behind the jersey, highlighting the sacrifices, challenges, and determination that drive them to keep fighting for the country.
Produced in collaboration with Astro Arena, this five-episode series takes viewers beyond match results and stadium highlights, offering a more personal perspective on the lives of national players off the pitch.
Among the stories featured is that of young national striker Fergus Tierney, whose journey proves that representing Malaysia knows no borders.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Fergus grew up in Penang and has considered Malaysia his home since childhood. Despite facing challenges adapting to the local football environment, he never let cultural or language differences become barriers.
Joining JDT II at the age of 18 as the team's youngest player, Fergus worked tirelessly to improve his command of Bahasa Melayu and can now speak fluently like a local.
His dream of wearing the Harimau Malaya jersey became a reality when he was called up to represent the national Under-23 squad at just 19 years old.
Reflecting on that defining moment, Fergus shared: "I walked out of the tunnel and saw my family alongside all the supporters of the national team, I felt like crying while singing the Negaraku (national anthem)."
Alongside Fergus, the series also features emotional and inspiring stories from other national players, including Syafiq Ahmad, who opens up about the pressures and expectations of representing the country, and Faisal Halim, whose resilience and strength have inspired many Malaysians through the challenges he has faced both on and off the pitch.

Through these stories, WONDA Coffee hopes to encourage Malaysians to see Harimau Malaya from a different perspective—not just as footballers, but as individuals who carry the hopes of a nation through immense sacrifice, pressure, and resilience. When their journeys are better understood, support is no longer defined solely by match results, but by a deeper appreciation of the effort and dedication behind every performance.
Through "Kisah Disebalik Harimau", WONDA Coffee goes beyond being an official partner of Harimau Malaya. It becomes a platform that unites Malaysians behind the national team through a deeper understanding of the people behind the badge.
As a symbol of this shared spirit, WONDA Coffee has become part of everyday Malaysian life, accompanying moments of celebration, conversation, and shared experiences while watching matches with family and friends. It reflects the spirit that unites millions of Malaysians behind one chant, one pride, and one Harimau Malaya.
To celebrate the unwavering support of fans, WONDA Coffee is also offering limited-edition merchandise including signed Harimau Malaya player jerseys and exclusive Harimau Malaya phone card holders.
