Anthony Joshua poked fun at Tyson Fury after the former heavyweight champion blocked the IBF, WBA and WBO belt holder on Twitter.

Joshua retained his titles with the 22nd victory – and 21st knockout – of his career at Wembley on Saturday with a brutal seventh-round knockout of Alexander Povetkin.

After the fight Joshua named WBC champion Deontay Wilder as the man he wants to face on his next scheduled Wembley date of April 13, as opposed to Fury who faces the 'Bronze Bomber' in December.

That brought an expletive-laden tweet from Fury, suggesting Joshua was doing everything he could to avoid a fight with the 30-year-old.

Despite that jibe, Joshua included Fury in a Twitter poll asking his fans who he should fight next.

Wilder took a lead in the poll, with 53 per cent of the vote set against 43 for his next opponent, while Dillian Whyte took four per cent.

However, Fury will be unable to see the final result on Monday after hitting the block button.

Joshua made light of that decision, posting a screenshot with the words "Why so serious?" and a clown emoji.
