According to multiple reports, Miami has re-signed the 30-year-old small forward to a one-year deal worth around $6.2 to $6.3 million.
Ellington is coming off of a career year in which he averaged 11.2 points and 2.9 3-pointers made on 39.2 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
The former North Carolina Tar Heel also competed in the NBA All-Star Game 3-point contest.
