Malaysia bagged two titles at the Slovenia International by clinching the mixed doubles and women’s doubles crowns through Choong Hon Jian-Toh Ee Wei and Low Yeen Yuan-Valeree Siow on Saturday.

Low-Siow marked their senior debut with a 21-11, 21-15 triumph over Danish pair Isabella Nielsen-Marie Louise Steffensen in just 34 minutes to take home the women’s doubles title.

The young Malaysians were imperious this tournament, only dropping one game on their way to becoming champions.

Choong-Toh made the national contingent’s participation that much sweeter as they captured the mixed doubles trophy, courtesy of a 21-18, 21-18 triumph over Indonesian duo Muh Putra-Sofy Al Mushira.

The world number 263 pair were also excellent in their campaign, winning most of their matches in comfortable fashion.

This was their second title this year, having won the first title on their debut at the Polish Open in March.
