Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin secured their third title in two months after they captured the Arctic Open men's doubles title, as Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah finished as runners-up.
The day belonged to Goh-Izzuddin, secured another silverware after they dethroned defending champions Kim Astrup-Anders Skaarup Rasmussen 15-21, 21-19, 21-19 in the city of Vantaa, Finland.
The newly turned professional pair displayed immense character and resilience by coming from behind to score the final four points in the deciding game.
Astrup-Rasmussen were only two points away from retaining their title with a 19-17 lead, but the Malaysians did not wilt away and fought back valiantly.
Their calmness put the Danes under pressure and the defending champions could not find the final two points needed as Goh-Izzuddin carved out another successful chapter in their career.
The first game went to Kim-Astrup who found gaps in the Malaysians defence to come away with the 21-15 win, but Goh-Izzuddin responded brilliantly by going on the offense in the second game which their opponents could not cope with to secure the 21-19 success, paving the way for the epic decider.
This is the world number eight hottest streak in their career after winning three top tier titles in the span of two months. Goh-Izzuddin have now captured a Super 750 (Japan Open), Super 1000 (China Open) and Super 500 (Arctic Open) titles in two months.
It eclipses their run last year when they won the U.S Open, Kaohsiung Masters and Abu Dhabi Masters which were Super 300 and Super 100 events.
Tan-Thinaah couldn't make it a double success after they fell 12-2
1, 17-21 against defending champions and top seeds Tan Ning-Liu Sheng Shu in the women's doubles final.
The Chinese avenged their defeat to the Malaysians at the Hong Kong Open final in a physical match which saw a 103-shot rally in the second game.
