Washington Wizards point guard John Wall will miss another 12 months of action after the All-Star suffered an Achilles rupture during his recovery from heel surgery.
Wall underwent an operation on his heel in January and the Wizards revealed he suffered an infection in the initial incision from the procedure.

The five-time All-Star then slipped and fell in his home, resulting in the new injury that will sideline him for a year from the date of surgery, which is yet to be scheduled.
Wizards director of medical services and orthopedist Wiemi Douoguih diagnosed the rupture during a procedure to clean out the infection.
