Tyson Fury has blasted Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder for using his name as a backup in negotiations for their, as yet unconfirmed, unification fight.

Fury, the former heavyweight champion, returned to the ring in June with a win over Albania's Sefer Seferi, following nearly three years on the sideline.

Britain's Joshua, the current WBA, WBO and IBF champion, will face Alexander Povetkin in September after failing to come to an agreement with America's Wilder, the unbeaten WBC champion.

And Fury was unimpressed that his name had been used throughout the two men's posturing.

Speaking on a video posted to social media, Fury said: "I keep hearing Wilder saying if he doesn't fight Joshua he'll fight Fury, and Joshua saying if he doesn't fight Wilder he'll fight Fury?

"Live your own life, fight your own people and crack on. I'll fight you when I'm ready, not on your time, on my time.

"I'm the lineal champion — always remember that. Fight each other, and that will decipher who gets the right to challenge the lineal heavyweight champion — me.''

Earlier Thursday, Fury also refuted Dillian Whyte's claims of a fight being negotiated between the two.

Whyte comes face to face with New Zealand's Joseph Parker on Saturday at a sold-out O2 Arena in London, with the winner of the bout expected to earn a title shot in the near future.

However, earlier this week Whyte suggested he had lined up a fight with Fury and would "steamroller him" in the ring.

Fury said on Twitter: "If Dillian Whyte is in talks for a fight with the Gypsy king. I’d like to know who he and his team are talking to? Maybe Santa, and never mind me, focus on Joe Parker. Hardest fight of your career, and as for the steamroller comment - then you woke up. Good luck."
