Just a month after Procter & Gamble, Hershey's and Under Armour reportedly ended their partnership as sponsors of USA Gymnastics, AT&T announced Tuesday they have suspended its sponsorship with the organization amid the latest sexual abuse scandal involving Larry Nassar.

"We notified USA Gymnastics today that we are suspending our sponsorship of the organization until it is re-built and we know that the athletes are in a safe environment," AT&T said in a statement obtained by USA Today.

"The terrible abuse suffered by these young women is unconscionable. We remain committed to helping these young athletes pursue their dreams and hope to find other ways to do so. We stand ready to step back in when USAG has fully addressed these tragic events.”

The announcement comes only a day after three executives of USA Gymnastics announced their resignation and a few days after Aly Raisman became the latest high-profile gymnast to come forward and share her story regarding the sexual abuse case involving former USA team doctor Nassar.

Raisman joined Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Jordyn Wieber among others who have already shared their accounts.

Nassar, who is in his sixth day of sentencing, pleaded guilty to 10 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and faces 25 to 40 years in prison in state court after he was already sentenced to 60 years in prison on federal child pornography charges.
