JJ Redick will remain in Philadelphia.

The veteran guard signed a 1-year deal worth $12 million to $13 million, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. It's the second year in a row Redick was signed to a one-year contract.

The deal happened quickly once news broke Sunday night that LeBron James had agreed to a four-year deal with the Lakers.

Redick's first season with the Sixers was his best yet. He averaged a career-high 17.1 points plus 2.5 rebounds with 3.0 assists.

Redick, 34, has been in the league for 12 seasons, having also played for the Magic, Bucks and Clippers.
