The Golden Knights have locked up center Jonathan Marchessault to a long-term deal.
The team announced Wednesday they signed Marchessault to a six-year contract worth $30 million.

Marchessault joined the Golden Knights in the expansion draft after scoring 30 goals and adding 21 assists last season with the Panthers.
The 27-year-old has scored 15 goals and added 22 assists this season as the Golden Knights hold the best record in the Western Conference at 27-9-2.
While Marchessault went undrafted, he has steadily improved every season he has been in the NHL.
