Australia will be without star opener Aaron Finch for the fourth one-day international against England due to a hamstring injury.

A minor hamstring strain has sidelined in-form batsman Finch ahead of Friday's clash in Adelaide, with Australia trailing 3-0 in the series.

Finch, 31, will be further assessed before selectors make a decision on his availability for Sunday's fifth ODI.

The veteran has been a shining light for a struggling Australia side, having hit two centuries against England.

Finch scored 107 in game one before following that up with a 106-run knock and 62 in the third ODI last week.
