Sunday morning is primed to be a very entertaining period for golf fans.

With the BMW PGA Championship already being played in London, fans will now get to flip between that historic event and the final round of the Dean & DeLuca Invitational.

The PGA Tour announced after the conclusion of Round 3 that a severe weather threat Sunday afternoon near the Colonial Golf Course in Fort Worth, Texas, will force threesomes off split tees from approximately 10:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. ET.

Webb Simpson will start the final round with a two-shot lead after firing a 3-under 67 Saturday in tough conditions. He should begin his final round just as the European Tour's flagship event is crowning a champion.

Here are Sunday's contenders at Colonial:

Webb Simpson (-9) — When a shotmaker plays on a shot-maker's course good things usually happen. Simpson finished t-3 here last year, and looks poised to better that finish this year. With a host of players lurking, it will be important for Simpson to get off to a nice start and not make his opponents' jobs easier.

Paul Casey (-7) — Casey often seems like a forgotten man even though he routinely peppers leaderboads, and even rose to No. 3 in the world rankings at one point in his career. Though Casey is sneaky-long off the tee, it's his elite iron game that helps him contend on this course.

Danny Lee (-7) — Lee, unlike Casey, has legitimately been invisible for the better part of a year. The New Zealander burst out of his rut last week with a t-5, and he has continued his good form just down the road at Colonial. If he can continue rolling in putts, he could earn his second win on the PGA Tour.

Jon Rahm (-5) — The fiery Spaniard made a lot of birdies (five) and bogeys (five) Saturday. Despite failing to move forward, Rahm remained in contention by recording three birdies on the back nine. Already a lock for rookie of the year honors, Rahm may now push for overall player of the year if he continues his consistently elite form.

Others in contention:

Stewart Cink (-6)

Kevin Kisner (-6)

Sean O'Hair (-5)

Jordan Spieth (-4)

Emiliano Grillo (-4)

Sergio Garcia (-4)

Bill Haas (-4)

Scott Piercy (-4)
