Danny Brough marked his 500th career appearance with a man-of-the-match display as Wakefield Trinity beat Catalans Dragons 22-12 for their first victory of the season.
Wakefield opened their campaign with back-to-back defeats against London Broncos and St Helens but kick-started their season at Belle Vue against the Challenge Cup champions.

Brough's faultless kicking game contributed 10 points to the Wakefield cause, while Tom Johnstone, David Fifita and James Batchelor all crossed for tries.
Much of the work was done before half-time, as the hosts took a 20-8 lead into the interval.

Samisoni Langi touched down twice for Catalans but could not prevent them falling to a second defeat in three matches, leaving them with the same record as Wakefield for the season.
Wakefield visit Leeds Rhinos next Friday, while Catalans host Warrington Wolves the following day.
