Joel Moon scored a hat-trick inside 14 minutes as Leeds Rhinos made it two Super 8s Qualifier victories out of two with a 48-32 triumph at London Broncos.

The Rhinos this week announced that Moon will leave the club at the end of the season, but the versatile Australian showed he remains committed to the cause on Sunday.

Moon took advantage of a dropped ball in the Broncos' first set to score the opening try and was left with a simple finish following a Kieran Dixon error before crossing for a quickfire treble in a blistering start from the Super League champions.

Dixon got the Broncos, eyeing a Super League return after stunning Widnes Vikings in their opening Qualifier, on the board, but injury-hit Leeds stretched their lead to 28-6 at half-time with tries from the recalled Luke Briscoe - given his chance with Ryan Hall out for the season - and Brett Ferres.

Ashton Golding claimed a second-half double and Carl Ablett also crossed, with Liam Sutcliffe taking his tally with the boot to 16 points as four tries in the last 15 minutes proved to be in vain for the Championship side.

Victory for the Rhinos came on the back of a hard-fought success over Toulouse Olympique last time out.
