WG.Unity announced the shock departures of Ahjit and Ahfu on its official Facebook page yesterday.
Both players joined a little over a year ago and last turned out for the team at the SEA Kappa Invitational Season 4.
No official reason was given regarding their departures, but the news came as a surprise, as WG.Unity is scheduled to compete in the ZOTAC Cup Masters SEA Qualifier #2 in less than 10 days' time.
"They will no longer be active players in the WG roster. we wish them nothing but success wherever they decide to go," read the official statement.
"We’ll soon announce the new roster. WG is not done; we will come back stronger."
Their departures marked another disappointment in 2017 for WG.Unity, who failed to qualify for several major tournaments and got into a contract dispute with a sponsor.
