Paris Olympics: Aaron-Wooi Yik defeated by world top pair
Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik gave their best effort against Liang Wei Keng-Wang Chang, but came up short after the Chinese duo came out tops at the Paris Olympics semis on Friday.
In a battle that lasted almost an hour and a half, Chia-Soh ultimately fell to a 19-21, 21-15, 17-21 defeat.
The defeat means the Tokyo Olympics bronze medalists will find themselves contesting in another bronze medal shootout match on Saturday.

The first game was point for point until Wang produced two inspired moments in the final two rallies to give the world number one pair the lead.
Chia-Soh did not let their heads drop and stormed back in excellent fashion to dominate and take the second game.
As expected, it was an extremely tensed affair in the deciding game as the both pairs locked in fast exchanges and preferring to play at the net instead of lifting the shuttle.
The Malaysians fought to keep pace until 17-18, but they were ultimately undone by unforced errors and conceded defeat when Chia's return found the net.
Liang-Wang celebrated the win triumphantly, and will step into the men's doubles final having beaten Chia-Soh twice in this competition.
