India Open: Dominant Zii Jia tames Christie in two games to earn last eight slot
Lee Zii Jia checked into the India Open quarter-finals after turning in a confident display against Jonatan Christie to beat the Indonesian in straight games.
The world number 10 needed 46-minutes to beat his opponent 21-15, 21-13 to check into the last eight, where he will face a Japanese shuttler.
Lee's net game has improved from last week at the Malaysia Open, which made the difference against Christie.

That and coupled with him choosing the right moments to attack, defending well and staying patient resulted in the comfortable win.
"What I learnt most from last year is to stay patient. As you can see, my gameplay has changed quite a bit. I am still finding the winning formula, he said.
The Malaysian could face second seeded Kodai Naraoka who will play his countryman Takuma Obayashi.
Mixed doubles pair Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai also made it to their first quarter-finals of the year after they beat Chinese pair Cheng Xing-Zhang Chi 26-24, 21-10.
They will go on to face another Chinese pair Jiang Zhen Bang-Wei Ya Xin on Friday.
Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei, Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin and Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah meanwhile all crashed out after losing their respective matches.
