World champions Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik got their Denmark Open campaign off to a comfortable start after they brushed aside the challenge of Germans Mark Lamsfuss-Marvin Seidil 21-18, 21-19 in the opening round on Wednesday.
The world number four were playing in their first match since the historic win over Hendra Setiawan-Mohammad Ahsan at the world meet in August, and they duly delivered what was expected of them.

The opening game was neck and neck until 18-18, before the Malaysians combined well to take the lead.
The Germans matched the Malaysians until the interval of the second game, but Chia-Soh pulled away for a 15-11 lead.
Lamsfuss-Seidil tried to mount a comeback in the second game, but it proved too little too late as Chia-Soh sealed victory in 36 minutes.
The Malaysians go on to face French pair Lucas Corvee-Ronan Labar on Thursday.
It proved a good day at the office for mixed doubles eighth seeds Tan Kian Meng-Lai Pei Jing, who ousted Danes Mathias Christiansen-Alexandra Boje 23-21, 21-13.
Tan-Lai are up against familiar faces in Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai, who overcame Lee Jhe Huei-Hsu Ya Ching.
Two Malaysian pairs, meanwhile, saw their challenges end after straight game defeats.
First it was Man Wei Chong-Kai Wun Tee who went down 20-22, 15-21 against Indonesians Shohibul Fikri-Bagas Maulana.
Vivian Hoo-Lim Chiew Sien then swiftly followed suit after a 19-21, 17-21 loss against the Japan's Rin Iwanaga-Kie Nakanishi.
