Lee Zii Jia and Ng Tze Yong were handed Hong Kong tests at the upcoming Badminton Asia Championships (BAC) taking place from April 25-30 in Dubai.
Lee, as the defending men's singles champion, will surely be hoping to use his recent good form against Angus Ng Ka Long, who won the German Open and finished runner-up at the Thailand Masters this year.

The world number four, who recently posted back-to-back semi-finals outings in Europe, lost to Angus at the Indonesia Masters earlier this year.
If he beats Angus, his run-up looks optimistic until the semi-finals where he could face another high-flier in Li Shi Feng, who recently won the All England.
Ng, meanwhile, squares off against Lee Cheuk Yiu whom he beat once in their only encounter last year.
In the women’s singles, Goh Jin Wei faces a tall order against in-form An Se-young, who already had three titles to her name this year.
On paper, S.Kisona also ha a tough test against Thailand’s world number 10 Pornpawee Chochuwong.
The tough tests for the Malaysian shuttlers are also evident in the men’s doubles, with last year’s finalists Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik having to contend against Leo Rolly Carnando-Daniel Marthin.
The Indonesians most recently beat the world champions in the All England opening round.
Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah will hope to get their season back on track when they face Thailand’s Jongkolphan Kititharakul-Rawinda Prajonglai in the first round, while all attention is on Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei in the mixed doubles.
The recent Orleans Masters champions face a stern opening test against seventh seeds Kim Won-ho-Jeong Na-eun, while Tan Kian Meng-Lai Pei Jing are up against Swiss Open champs Jiang Zhen Bang-Wei Ya Xin.
