'Unwell' Williams withdrawn from All Blacks squad

Sonny Bill Williams will miss New Zealand's Rugby Championship clash against South Africa due to illness.

Williams, 33, was initially named among the replacements for Saturday's encounter in Wellington.

However, the All Blacks later announced Williams had been withdrawn "as he has been unwell this week".

Jack Goodhue replaces Williams on the bench.

The All Blacks are top of the Rugby Championship with three wins from as many matches.

New Zealand: Jordie Barrett, Ben Smith, Anton Lienert-Brown, Ryan Crotty, Rieko Ioane, Beauden Barrett, Aaron Smith; Karl Tu'inukuafe, Codie Taylor, Owen Franks, Sam Whitelock, Scott Barrett, Liam Squire, Sam Cane, Kieran Read.
Replacements: Liam Coltman, Tim Perry, Ofa Tuungafasi, Patrick Tuipulotu, Ardie Savea, TJ Perenara, Jack Goodhue, Damian McKenzie.
