Tom Crean to be named head coach at Georgia, report says

The Georgia Bulldogs have found their new basketball coach.

According to ESPN, Tom Crean is finalizing terms to become the next head man at UGA.

Crean most recently was the head coach at Indiana from 2008-2017. He went 166-135 in his time with the Hoosiers before he was fired in March 2017. Since then he has been a college basketball analyst for ESPN.

In his two coaching jobs between Indiana and Marquette, Crean amassed 356 wins and 231 losses while making the NCAA Tournament nine times.

Crean will replace Mark Fox who went 163-133 in nine years with the Bulldogs.
