The New Zealand international will need surgery and is out for at least two weeks, the Storm said on Saturday.

"Half-back Jahrome Hughes has broken his hand in last night's win over the Rabbitohs," they wrote on Twitter.

"He will undergo surgery and is expected to be out for 2-3 weeks."

The Storm's win was their third in four games this season and they sit fourth in the table.
