Malaysian squash starlet S. Sivasangari was named the Women's Young Player of the Year at the 2017/18 Professional Squash Association (PSA) Awards on Monday.
It capped a good 12 months for the 19-year-old, who beat Egypt's Hania El Hammamy to the honour.
Last year, she won three PSA Tour titles and two gold medals at the Kuala Lumpur SEA Games, leading her to be nominated for the National Sports Awards' Sportswoman of the Year
The current world no.40 ended her junior career with a win at the 2018 British Junior Open in January before partnering with Rachel Arnold to defeat world squash doubles champions Joelle King and Amanda Landers-Murphy en route to the quarter-finals at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in April.
Meanwhile, world no.1s Mohamed El Shorbagy and Nour El Sherbini picked up the Player of Year Awards, and former world junior champion Diego Elias was named the Men's Young Player of the Year for the second year running.
