Carmelo Anthony is no longer a member of the Rockets.
According to a report from ESPN, Houston has reached a deal with the Bulls for the 10-time All-Star. But, he won't be playing a game in Chicago, the report says, citing unidentified league sources.

His release, however, might not be immediate as the Bulls could hold off on waiving Anthony until the Feb. 7 trade deadline, according to the report.

The Rockets forward has reportedly fielded multiple offers recently, according to a report from the The Athletic.
A likely home could be with the LeBron James-less Lakers. But, Los Angeles does not want to waive a guaranteed player to create a roster spot for him, according to ESPN.

Anthony has not played since November after appearing in only 10 games with the Rockets. He averaged 13.4 points in 29.4 minutes per game and was shooting 40.5 percent from the field.
Anthony signed a one-year, $2.4 million minimum deal prior to 2018-19. He spent a season in Oklahoma City and nearly seven full seasons with the Knicks before landing in Houston.
