LiAngelo Ball and fellow UCLA freshmen Jalen Hill and Cody Riley were left in Hangzhou, China, as the rest of the team flew back to the U.S. Saturday night, according to an AP report.
According to several reports, the three players were arrested earlier this week for allegedly shoplifting at a Louis Vuitton store near the team's hotel in Hangzhou. UCLA has not confirmed the reports and coach Steve Alford declined to talk about the issue after the team’s season-opening 63-60 win over Georgia Tech in Shanghai.

Although all three players were released on bail the day after their arrest, they did not play. They will reportedly remain at a local hotel until the issue is resolved.
ESPN reported Saturday they could remain in China "a week or two." A Bruins representative is staying with the players, and Ball's brother, Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, said their father, Lavar, is remaining in China as well.
ESPN also reported Saturday that surveillance footage of the shopping area the team visited allegedly shows the three players stealing from three stores.
