Josh Papalii has signed a contract extension at the Canberra Raiders, which will see him remain at the club until 2022.

The prop, 26, came through the ranks at the Raiders before making his debut in 2011, and has not looked back since, having played more than 150 times for Canberra.

Papalii, who has also represented Queensland and Australia, told the club's official website that he was excited to extend his stay in the capital for another four years.

"I love Canberra and I love the green jersey," he said.

"Canberra is my home and the Raiders have given me the opportunity to play in the NRL and I want to continue to repay them.

"This is the best place for me and my family to continue to live and for me to play my best footy."

The Raiders are away at the West Tigers this week as they continue to push for a place in the top eight.
