Novak Djokovic had an awkward moment during his Internazionali d'Italia semi-final win when his stray shot struck a ball boy.
Djokovic was pressing home his advantage after breaking serve against Diego Schwartzman in the final set of a tightly contested encounter in Rome when he mistimed an attempted return.

Unluckily enough, a ball boy to Djokovic's right could not get out of the way, and took the full brunt of a shot that, fortunately, was not one of the Serbian's most powerful.
No harm was done and the world number one quickly hurried over to offer his apologies.

It did not put him off, either, as he swiftly made Schwartzman pay for some sloppy errors to win 6-3 6-7 (2-7) 6-3 and set up a final against world number two Rafael Nadal.
