Nuggets need to get losing streak out of their system, says Malone
Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone acknowledged that they need to find a way to get a four-game losing streak out of their system after losing 125-120 to the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
That match followed defeats to the Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves to leave the Nuggets fourth in the West on a 47-32 record.
They blew a 13-point first-half lead against the Pacers to confirm their first four-game losing streak of the season with just three games to go before the playoffs.

"I don't know if I would say there's been a hangover," said Malone.
"We were up tonight. We got up by 13. We weren't able to hold on. We were up in Golden State, weren't able to hold on. So, I don't know if it's a hangover necessarily, but whatever it is we've got to find a way to get this out of our system."
Despite the Nuggets holding on to fourth place, they are just half a game away from dropping to eighth given the tight nature of the Western Conference.

Star man Nikola Jokic believes that just one win would transform the mood surrounding the team and help lift any negativity.
"We've lost four in a row, in a bad moment, so I think we're a little bit down. But a win can always cheer us up or make us feel better about ourselves," he said.
Christian Braun, meanwhile, scored a career-best 30 points against the Pacers. He was involved in a mix-up with Jokic on a turnover in the final 15 seconds with the Nuggets down two points, but believes the team can straighten things out.
"We get to the playoffs I know this team can compete with anybody," he said.
"We've got to go in there with momentum. We've got to go in there playing the right way. We've got to find a way to find some toughness.
"We've got to get back to who we are and we've got to find ourselves in these last three games. Like I said, it's not over or anything like that. But we do got to get some momentum."
