Familiar football faces are set to join Astro Supersport hosts Adam Carruthers and Michelle Lee for UEFA EURO 2020 as Astro revealed its punditry line-up.

Most of them appeared in the UEFA European Championship during their international careers, including 2006 World Cup winner Alessandro Nesta, Euro 1992 winner Brian Laudrup, Arsenal legend Tony Adams, and 105-capped Croatian Josip Simunic.

The premier European competition kicks off on June 12 with an opening match between Turkey and Italy, which will see former Liverpool and AC Milan winger Fabio Borini as the first pundit on duty.

Several former Premier League players will also be gracing Malaysian TV screens such as Andy King, who memorably won an historic Premier League title with Leicester City in 2016, former Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur defender Alan Hutton, and ex-Crystal Palace star Andros Townsend.

On top of offering views on their respective countries, Finland's Jussi Jaaskelainen, Dutchman Sander Westerveld and ex-Poland custodian Tomasz Kuszczak will also be sharing their thoughts from the goalkeeper's perspective.

Besides these former and current players, more names are expected to join the line-up as the tournament progresses.

All 51 matches of UEFA EURO 2020 will be shown live for Astro Sports Pack customers, and for those with the Astro Ultra Box, they will get to enjoy the tournament in 4K HDR.
