The Wizards have made multiple roster moves. But, they’re still planning to hold on to their star.
Washington is not expected to deal guard Bradley Beal before Thursday’s trade deadline, according to a report from The Athletic, which cites unidentified league sources.

The Wizards reportedly sent forward Otto Porter Jr. to the Bulls and Markieff Morris to the Pelicans in separate trades Wednesday.
Beal is averaging a career-high 24.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 37 minutes per game this season. Washington owner Ted Leonsis said in late January the team was "not trading" Porter, Beal or point guard John Wall. But, Wall ruptured his left Achilles tendon earlier this week while recovering from a December heel surgery. He's expected to be out for most of next season.
Trevor Ariza also appears like he'll be remaining in Washington. The Lakers are interested in trading for the forward, but he wants to stay with the Wizards, according to ESPN.

The Wizards dropped to 22-32 this season with a loss to the Bucks on Wednesday. They’re four games behind the Heat for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
