The countdown to LeBron James' return home has begun.
According to ESPN, which cited league sources, James is slated to face the Cavaliers for the first time as a member of the Lakers on Nov. 21 in Cleveland.

James opted to leave Cleveland for a second time in June and signed a four-year deal worth $154 million with Los Angeles at the start of free agency in July.
The NBA announced its national television schedule for the opening week of the 2018-19 regular season on Wednesday in addition to the Christmas Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day lineup. James and the Lakers are set to start the season in Portland on Oct. 18 before returning to Los Angeles for the home opener against the Rockets on Oct. 20.
The Lakers will later visit Stephen Curry and the defending NBA champion Warriors in a marquee matchup on Dec. 25 before hosting Golden State for a rematch on Jan. 21.
