NBA fines Draymond Green $50K for offensive language toward official

Warriors forward Draymond Green has been fined $50,000 "for directing inappropriate and offensive language toward a game official."

The NBA announced the fine Thursday following an incident during Golden State's 125-105 loss to the Thunder on Tuesday. After Green and Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook collided late in the second quarter, Green pleaded for a foul call from official Lauren Holtkamp, who whistled him for a technical.

Green and Holtkamp also had a run-in earlier in the game on another play in which Green and OKC forward Jerami Grant collided.

Green was eventually ejected in the fourth quarter after picking up another technical for throwing the ball out of bounds near another official.
