Montoon and eGG Network confirmed the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) would be making its return after a successful first season.

The first season of the Mobile Legend: Bang Bang tournament was won by Bigetron E-sports, then known as IDNS SG, after defeating Tyrants in the Grand Finals in April earlier this year.

For the second season, named MPL Season 2: The Rise of Legends, it would kick off with three online qualifiers for Malaysian and Singaporean players from June 22 to July 8, followed by a Regular Season, and conclude with an on-ground Grand Finals event in October 2018.

A special MPL event would also be organised, where a portion from purchases of exclusive MPL in-game items would contribute to the overall prize pool currently valued at US$100,000.

Registration is now open.
