There were plenty of knockdowns and knockouts to justify the ONE: BIG BANG moniker at ONE Championship’s latest event in Singapore on Friday night.
In the main event, three-time Kickboxing World Champion Marat Grigorian came from behind to starch two-time Russian Kickboxing Champion Ivan Kondratev in their ONE Super Series kickboxing featherweight showdown.

The Russian got off to an explosive start, even scoring a knockdown of Grigorian in the first round, but after some adjustments, the Armenian superstar came out strong in the second, where he ultimately finished Kondratev with a liver shot.
In the co-main event, #5-ranked featherweight Garry “The Lion Killer” Tonon went three hard rounds with #3-ranked Koyomi “Moushigo” Matsushima to score a unanimous decision win. That victory kept Tonon undefeated in mixed martial arts, and he immediately called for a World Title shot against newly crowned ONE Featherweight World Champion Thanh Le.
Midway through ONE: BIG BANG, kickboxing legend Andy “Souwer Power” Souwer put on a striking clinic against “Bamboo Sword” Zhang Chunyu in their ONE Super Series kickboxing featherweight clash.
With each round, Souwer kept turning up the volume and accuracy of his shots until he nearly finished Zhang. Surprisingly, Zhang survived the onslaught, but the unanimous decision – unsurprisingly – went to the Dutchman.
In the show’s opener, Indian wrestling icon and adopted Singaporean Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat kept her undefeated streak alive by stopping Jomary “The Zamboanginian Fighter” Torres via TKO in the first round of their atomweight clash.
It was one-way traffic after Phogat landed a takedown of Torres and began working her ground-and-pound strikes. As “The Indian Tigress” reigned down a barrage of punches and elbows, the referee was forced to stop the bout at the 3:55 mark of round one.
