Bucks point guard Malcolm Brogdon left Thursday's game against the Timberwolves early in the second quarter with a leg injury.

After going in for a breakaway dunk, Brogdon went down on the floor. He could reportedly be heard telling teammates he "heard something pop" on the play.

The Bucks issued a statement on Twitter saying Brogdon had suffered a left quad tendon strain and would not return tonight.

Brogdon will almost certainly be further evaluated tomorrow. If Brogdon misses any extended time it would be a blow to the Bucks, who entered the night 27-22 and in seventh place in the Eastern Conference. The second-year player out of Virginia is averaging 13.5 points and more than three rebounds and assists per game.
