Magic guard Arron Afflalo has been suspended for two games without pay for throwing a haymaker at Minnesota's Nemanja Bjelica, the NBA announced Thursday.

Afflalo and Bjelica were both ejected with 7:28 remaining in the second quarter of the Magic’s 108-102 victory over the Timberwolves Tuesday.

Afflalo will serve his suspension Thursday against the Cavaliers and Sunday against the Celtics.

Bjelica later said he was defending himself, calling Afflalo "wild." He has not been suspended.
