Luke re-signs with Warriors for 2019 season

Luke, whose contract expired at the end of the 2018 campaign, recommitted to the Warriors on Wednesday.

The 31-year-old hooker has been with the Warriors since 2016, after beginning his NRL career at the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

"It's good to have the contract all sorted out," Luke said.

"We always wanted to stay in New Zealand, my wife and the kids. I'm really happy here at the club and I'm pleased I have another season with the boys."

Luke has played 43 Tests for New Zealand, while he has made more than 250 appearances in the NRL.

Warriors head coach Stephen Kearney said there was never any doubt he wanted Luke to remain.

"We wanted Issac to stay. It was just a matter of sorting out the details," he said.
