LSU freshman forward Trendon Watford announced on Twitter that he is declaring for the NBA Draft.
Watford is the third freshman in the last two days to say he is going to turn pro, joining Duke second-team AP All-American Vernon Carey Jr. and Arizona guard Josh Green.

He was named to the Freshman All-SEC Team after averaging 13.6 points and 7.2 rebounds in his one season with the Tigers.
Watford shot 48.9 percent from the floor and also had seven double-doubles, tallying three in his final five games before the season was cut short by the coronavirus pandemic.
A solid ballhandler for his size who excels at finishing at the rim, the 19-year-old is considered to be a second-round pick.
