Lonzo Ball is happy he’s still with the Lakers.
Los Angeles had reportedly included the 21-year-old guard in its offers for Pelicans star Anthony Davis, but Ball remained with the Lakers after the teams failed to reach a deal before Thursday’s trade deadline.

Ball appeared to celebrate after he received the news. He posted a video to his Instagram story with the song “Bad Boys For Life” by P. Diddy playing in the background.

Ball has been out since Jan. 19 with an ankle sprain. He’s averaging 9.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 32.4 minutes per game this season.
The Lakers did acquire center Mike Muscala from the Clippers and forward Reggie Bullock from the Pistons in separate deals.
