“Left Meteorite” Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai joined ONE Championship in September 2019 with a single mission in mind – to win a ONE World Title.
The 21-year-old may take one step closer to that goal this Friday, 21 August, when he battles “The Million Dollar Baby” Sangmanee Klong SuanPluResort in the semifinals of the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Tournament at ONE: NO SURRENDER III in Bangkok, Thailand.

The winner will face tournament finalist Saemapetch Fairtex, and then the victor of the finals will meet ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao at a later date.
Before the multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion and Sports Writers Association Of Thailand Fighter Of The Year recipient meets Sangmanee in the capital city, Kulabdam talks about his compatriot’s strengths and how he plans to negate them.
“The scariest tactics of Sangmanee are his left foot and his elbows. They are very scary. I do feel somewhat worried,” Kulabdam confessed, “but I am happy to fight someone of his caliber.”
“Left Meteorite” may not have the same technical prowess that “The Million Dollar Baby” has, but his approach to fighting once earned him seven consecutive knockout wins at Channel 7 Stadium in Bangkok.
“It’s an aggressive style. I walk at them, I kick their legs, and I punch them,” he said. “My style is quite risky.”
Come this Friday, “Left Meteorite” – who will compete at ONE: NO SURRENDER III with six other World Champions – is willing to trade risk for reward against Sangmanee.
“I am confident in the power of my punches,” he added. “If I hit him, it will be enough for sure.”
Although his powerful punches could be enough to earn him the win this Friday, it will only be the first step in a longer journey for Kulabdam – a journey that he hopes will end with a ONE World Title around his waist.
“If I win this fight and beat Sangmanee, then I will have a bright future ahead of me,“ he said.
"Maybe I will even be able to compete for the championship. The goal I set for myself in ONE Championship is to become the champion.”
