Warriors star Kevin Durant suffered a sprained left ankle in Saturday's 124-116 win over the 76ers, and will not play Sunday against the Nets, the team announced.

A team source told SFGate.com he believes Durant suffered the injury in the first quarter of Golden State's victory in Philadelphia. Durant finished with 27 points in that game.

ESPN reports the injury is not believed to be serious, and Durant is considered day to day. Not that Durant needs any motivation to return to the lineup, but the Warriors' next game is Wednesday in Oklahoma City against his former team.
