A year ago, Devon Dotson participated in the NBA combine and had entered his name into the draft pool, only to return to Kansas.
After a standout sophomore season in which he led the Jayhawks to a 28-3 record and Big 12 title, Dotson has announced he is entering the NBA draft and intends to sign with an agent.

The 6-foot-2 Dotson earned second-team honours on The Associated Press All-America team after averaging a Big 12-leading 18.1 points, along with 4.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
A unanimous All-Big 12 first-team selection, Dotson also led the conference in steals at 2.1 per game and free throws made (142).
"In basketball, this has always been my ultimate dream and my time at KU has prepared me," Dotson said Monday in a news release.
Known for his ability to run the floor quickly on offense and his shutdown defense on the other end of the court, Dotson is expected to be either a late-first round pick or drafted early in the second round.
He concluded his collegiate career with Kansas atop the AP poll when the season was halted on March 12 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
