Carlos Sainz was unable to start the Belgian Grand Prix for the second successive year after his McLaren suffered exhaust failure.
The Spanish driver qualified in seventh for the race at Spa but had to head back to the garage after his car failed to make it onto the grid.

McLaren announced on Twitter: "Unfortunately, @Carlossainz55 will not start the #BelgianGP after an exhaust failure on the way to the grid."
The 25-year-old also has bad memories of Spa last year, as his Renault power unit failed on the parade lap.

He said after his latest setback: "On the second lap to the grid I started actually smelling something not quite right on my car and suddenly I started hearing that the exhaust had broken.
"I went into the pits and then we found out it was actually a PU issue that generated an exhaust blowout.
"Second consecutive year that I'm not even able to start the race at Spa. It's my favourite track – so you can imagine, I'm not happy."
Sainz sat ninth in the season's driver standings before Sunday's race, with 23 points, 16 fewer than team-mate Lando Norris.
