ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy defends his gold against “The Boxing Computer” Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex this Friday, 31 July, at ONE: NO SURRENDER in Bangkok, Thailand.
It will be a battle between a young and hungry World Champion looking to elevate his name to greatness and a veteran looking to add one more belt to his massive collection of World Titles.

Before the action in the night’s co-main event gets underway in Thailand’s capital city, Evolve MMA representative Eko Roni Saputra breaks down the epic clash.
“I think this is going to be decided through the judges’ scorecards,” Saputra said.
“It will heavily depend on their abilities to read the game and anticipate the attacks. Other than that, it’s about endurance.”
Being the younger athlete, Petchmorakot will without a doubt have the better endurance come Friday night. It’s what he and his coach have been banking on.
Still, Saputra gives the edge to Yodsanklai.
“His experience is unbelievable,” he said about the living legend. “His punch is good, and his left kick is fast.”
The Singapore-based mixed martial artist is referring to Yodsanklai’s two greatest weapons – his left uppercut and left body kick, both of which make him one of the most feared strikers in The Home Of Martial Arts.
Petchmorakot will need to be cautious of the southpaw’s strengths, but to do that, he may have to use his reach to engage Yodsanklai from the outside.
Still, despite crediting the Petchyindee Academy star with being the rangier athlete, Saputra doesn’t see the height advantage favoring the defending ONE World Champion.
“Petchmorakot, like many other tall guys, will try to land more head kicks,” Saputra said.
“Petchmorakot is taller, but I don’t think it will matter so much because they are the same weight after all.”
Ultimately, he doesn’t see the strategy working out for the Petchyindee representative, and Saputra believes “The Boxing Computer” will walk away as the new ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion.
“It’s going to be Yodsanklai who wins,” he said.
Find out if Saputra’s pick is accurate this Friday, 31 July, when Petchmorakot and Yodsanklai go head-to-head in the co-main event of ONE: NO SURRENDER.
Watch the card live on the ONE Super App or meWATCH at 8:30 p.m. Singapore Standard Time (SGT).
Also, Channel 5 will broadcast the event on delay at 1:10 a.m. SGT on Saturday, 1 August.
