Debutant Jimmy Keinhorst's 80th-minute try earned Hull KR a dramatic 18-16 Super League victory over rivals Hull FC at KCOM Craven Park.

Rovers wiped out a 12-point deficit in the first half, Joel Tomkins and Mitch Garbutt crossing to cancel out scores from Sika Manu and Matty Dawson on Friday.

The boot of Josh Drinkwater sent the hosts into half-time ahead, but Bureta Faraimo powered in to put Lee Radford's Hull FC back in front.

However, Keinhorst dived over in the corner with six seconds left on the clock to give Rovers victory in their first outing of the season.

Greg Eden scored a double as Castleford Tigers thumped Catalans Dragons 20-4 at the Jungle.

Eden crossed either side of half-time, while Paul McShane added eight points with the boot to his opening try in an impressive display.

Salford Red Devils scored four tries in the space of 20 second-half minutes to clinch a 34-14 victory over Huddersfield Giants.

Niall Evalds bagged a hat-trick and Ken Sio marked his first appearance for the club with a double.
