Damian Lillard's half-brother injured in shooting at Portland-area mall

The 20-year-old half-brother of Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard was shot Thursday at a Portland-area shopping mall.

According to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Jahrell Lillard of San Leandro, Calif., was shot multiple times in the parking lot of the Clackamas Town Center in Happy Valley, Ore. Portland's KPTV Fox 12 reported that Lillard underwent surgery overnight. His condition was unavailable.

Jahrell Lillard told authorities two African American men shot him as he walked to his car, and callers reported hearing five to 10 rounds fired.

Police are seeking tips to identify the suspects in the shooting.

The Trail Blazers will host the Clippers Friday at 10:30 p.m. ET. Damian Lillard, who missed Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies following the birth of his first child, had been expected to play Friday.
