In the event an 84-year-old man flips you the bird, try to handle it as gracefully as Charles Barkley did Monday night.

NBA legend Bill Russell was caught on camera at the NBA Awards giving Barkley a single-finger salute in a moment that lit up up Twitter.

Russell later apologized on Twitter, but Barkley didn’t mind at all.

"I love that guy like a father," Barkley told USA Today. “It was awesome."
